Description

Function:

Business partner with the management team, giving reliable financial information, analysis and supporting the growth of the company


Duties and responsibilities:

In charge of controlling activities of the EMEA region for Recordati Rare Diseases


MISSION
France, Benelux, Germany Austria, Italy, Nordics, Spain, Portugal, UK, Dubai and CEE

  • Expenses followup
  • Monthly analysis vs budget and last year
  • Monthly comments to management and headquarters
  • Financial support first, to management team and, secondly to affiliates
  • Budget and forecast
  • Backup of the other teammates
  • Transversal projects: participation to specific projects as EMEA team referent.
  • Examples: improve our financial and reporting tools (P&L by franchise, standardisation and automatization of processes, propose new ideas ).

Education and Experience:


  • Upper education (at least Bac+5) in economics or financial management or financial accounting
  • 5 years of professional experience as Financial Controller
  • Strong understanding of accounting
  • Knowledge of the IFRS and French GAAP

Skills required:


  • Microsoft office (advanced functions of Excel like VBA or pivot tables, Access)
  • SAP
  • HFM
  • Fluent in French & English
  • Excellent at analysing figures
  • Skilled in time management and able to meet deadlines
  • Organizational capacities
  • Good communication and training skills
  • Ability to work across cultures
  • Conflict solving abilities, strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Positive thinking
