Description

Business Process Ownership

  • Drive standardization, harmonization, optimization of the business processes: Month End Closing, Planning Budgeting & Forecasting, Reporting & Controlling, Accounting (AP / AR)
  • Map current "end to end" processes and design "tobe"
  • Identify issues and area of improvements, propose action plans
  • Insure compliance with Accounting principles
  • Insure consistency between entities
  • Insure alignment with consolidation principles
  • Set golden rules, track and reduce any deviations to standards and Core model
  • Manage Knowledge Management (Tacit>Explicit) and documentations: BPH, Processes, Training Material...

Project Management

  • Review and approve the Requirements and Design of each project
  • Insure alignment of the project with the Finance vision, FBT design and process design
  • Manage the overall master plan to sequence or parallelize all various projects between them
  • Creates and maintains a detailed schedule plan for each project with all necessary central and local work packages: design, solution implementation, testing, data migration, training, change management and cutover
  • Works with the business team leads and IS teams to ensure that all activities are properly planned and resourced
  • Coordinates all project activities and ensures these are executed according to schedule plan
  • Tracks activities against the plan and measures progress, reports delays and proposes new path to meet the timelines.

Request for Change Management

  • Review and approve Change requests according to Core Model ensuring their alignments with the Finance vision, FBT design and any agreed improvements.
  • Lead arbitration and prioritization of the Change request
  • Drive the resolution from a business perspective in all phases: clarify the requirements, follow the development, insure testing is performed according to plan, and support implementation and adoption.

Change Management

  • Establishes change management plan for each project/change and coordinates the actions,
  • Ensure the adhesion of a Core model adoption within all business functions involved

Application ownership

  • Insure that any systems developments is in line with Business requirements and process
  • Be the point of contact of the business for system related issues/requests and insure the first two levels of support, linking with IS when necessary
  • Lead & manage user authorizations

Reporting and methodology

  • Keeps key stakeholders in central and local finance management team informed of status and related issues
  • Establish and communicates status reports and dashboards according to reporting processes defined by the central management team
  • Ensures Nissan project methodology is followed, establish project rules and procedures in close coordination with all parties (IS, supplier, business)

Team Lead

  • No direct report at the start, but organisation may evolve
  • Strong coordination of indirect reports

In case of direct report in future:

  • Ensure objective setting and appraisal reviews are properly performed,
  • Ensure proper development plan for the team member,
  • Ensure succession plan
  • Manage resource allocations, balancing priorities between Change Requests, Projects and overall maintenance of the financial systems and processes
