Global Business Director - Home Care on a Global Account - Your future position?

A key member of one of our Givaudan Fragrance and Beauty Key Account, as a Global Business Director you aim at protecting, growing and future proofing the sales and profitability of the Home Care category, via strong internal and client networks, a clear strategic category vision and inspirational team leadership.

The Home Care category includes Laundry Cleaners as well as Fabric Softeners and Household products. If you are passionate about consumer product fragrances, strategically agile, global team player, adept at delivering on the customer sales targets and securing new wins, then this role will allow you to make an impact

In this exciting and strategic role, you will:

Define and implement a strategy to protect, grow and future proof the Home Care (Laundry, Softeners, Household) category business for a key global account having identified and prioritised the key opportunities and risks to the business then delivering executable plans to address these.
Maintain & Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at your client and position Givaudan as the goto partner of choice.
Clearly communicate the key technology needs of the client to ensure that the Givaudan S&T function has a clear set of prioritised objectives within a realistic timeframe.
Lead, coach, inspire and motivate both the direct and indirect reports in the global commercial, development and support teams;
Ensure that internal resources are effectively focused via clear and consistent communication of the category needs to the Givaudan development centres.
Negotiate strong commercial deals to enable Givaudan to grow market share within the category

Your professional profile includes:

Graduate or higher degree with a high level of agility
Strong knowledge of the Home Care category with at least 10 years industry experience and ideally min 5 years of sales experience. A scientific or development experience would be a plus
Global management skills, Fluency in English mandatory
Demonstrated strong leadership skills, performance management, business acumen. An entrepreneurial mindset would be a plus
Good at building relationships and networking with senior stakeholders
Excellent negotiation and communication skills; Persuasiveness and assertiveness
Understanding of the sustainability challenges

The role would be preferably based in Europe, ideally France or UK. The role requires frequent travelling around the globe.
