- Analyse and assess high-profile claims from a quantum, as well as liability standpoint, reviewing presentations from an original policy as well reinsurance angle. Drive the development of these claims as well as portfolios under responsibility. Process claims in line with defined processes, workflow systems & guidelines. Guarantee adherence to these processes & guidelines.
- Develop representation in market bodies and expand network of industry contacts respectively, . clients, attorneys, adjusters, surveyors in France. Promote SR's technical claims expertise and profile in the markets, specifically to Key Clients.
- Maintain and foster client relationships in the market under responsibility in line with the principles of right service for the right clients. Contribute to thought-leading internal networks to ultimately build client impact.
- Supervise and report on legal developments as well as other relevant changes in the French market and your portfolio overall. Become an active member of the cross-functional market teams (XFT), supporting client marketers and client underwriters with your insights, actively shaping results and market strategy.
- Look to assist in developing and selling products and solutions for the insurance markets.
- Support financial transactions with clients and third parties.
- Plan and conduct claims reviews & audits, coordinating and/or assisting clients in any remedial actions to improve claims standards.
- Detailed understanding and knowledge of the market
- Strong portfolio-based claim-handling with ability in identifying and understanding claim trends and developments. Ability to adjudicate individual claims to drive positive outcomes and hence protecting SR's and the client's bottom line.
- Evidence of line-specific industry/primary insurance experience.
- Reinsurance knowledge/strong motivation to learn about reinsurance.
- Data literacy or preparedness to acquire the respective skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English required.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Preferentially successfully completed university degree in Law, or Insurance studies.
