We are looking for a Intralogistics Specialist to join our team and help us achieve the next Intralogistics level.


The position
In connection with Intralogistics headquarters standards, as intralogistics Specialist your main tasks will be as follows:

  • Development of automated warehouse technology solutions based on the technical evaluation and analysis of current warehouse processes and data (e.g. incoming and outgoing goods volumes).
  • Definition of requirements, development of material flow diagrams and layouts, and perform cost estimations.
  • Elaboration of specifications, requests for proposals and evaluation of offers for the selection of suitable technology partners.
  • Partnership with the project teams on site during realization, commissioning and rampup of the projects
  • Creation and implementation of local intralogistics standards: Control and responsibility for process optimization, continuous coordination within the local project intralogistics team, market observation and analysis for the futureoriented further development of our intralogistics, work with stakeholders and LoB Managers to ensure alignment

Qualifications:


  • You have completed studies in the field of technical logistics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar fields with reference to material flow systems. At least 5 years of experience in warehouse automation with consultants, manufacturers of intralogistics or users.
  • You have a very good knowledge of logistics planning and technical intralogistics (materials handling, automation, planning of systems and equipment in intralogistics).
  • You are familiar with Lean tools, methods and principles such as Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, etc
  • You are familiar with Project Management tools, methods and principles
  • You have a very good knowledge of English. You have an analytical and logical way of thinking with a strong affinity for numbers and data. Deep knowledge of warehouse processes in pharmaceutical or similar field is an advantage.

About the Department
In the Expand Capacity Department, you will be situated within Intralogistics, Fill/finish Expansion Project at Site Chartres.

You will be responsible for the automation coordination of the different intralogistics projects phases in the Expand Capacity Logistics portfolio and you will be responsible (accountable) for the deliverables under your responsibility.
