Description

Product Planning team core functions are 1) to secure future models for AMIEO region and 2) to ensure product competitiveness (whole vehicle including powertrain and others, such as connectivity) is validated through regional PSPM-AMIEO and global PSPR/PSPM/PSDM milestones.

PSP VP is owner of this regional process to secure input to global. TA role is key to manage and coordinate stakeholders (30+ members) monthly including executive and MCC pre-levelling before PSPM-AMIEO.

Additionally, TA is the pilot for key initiatives in PSP:

team wellness & GES, transition to electrification, services, connected working, champion for digitalization of tools and processes with NML, Process improvement and AMIEO-specific topics such as geographical expansion simplification.

TA is key member for regional MCC, SVP offices liaising as well as global leadership equivalents. This is an internal EVP-4 level role.


Main tasks and responsibilities:


Organize, manage, maintain and improve day-to-day Product & Service Planning processes like PSPM-AMIEO (Regional Product & Service Planning Meeting), PPSR (Product Planning Study Request), VE (Vehicle Enhancement), MTP (MidTerm Plan) liaising with relevant functional counterparts.

On behalf of the VP for any bottom-up activity, coordinate tasks with each of the directors and collate their inputs, incl.

for R-CPLO bi-weekly, SVP meeting, MC, All-Team meetings, 180 survey, ATM etc. Monitor homework from exec meetings and secure timely follow-up for any items with relevant Product and Service Planning members. Track VP requests and follow-up with directors following weekly Directors meeting.
Prepare, update and adapt presentations for internal and external audiences, liaising with RPMs and other functions. Events include GDAP, dealer events, RBU visits, works council presentations, importer presentations
Build, level, monitor and report G&A budget for Product and Service Planning Department.
HR support including monitoring of objectives/appraisal, hiring process, competency matrix, maintenance of distribution lists, org charts,
Coordinate trainings (incl. local trainings with guest speakers from other departments, flagging and extending invites for existing trainings, acting as window for NML Upstream University)


Background and experience:


At least 3 years of combined experience in:
Product Planning, OPD, Market Intelligence, Marketability, Software R&D
Bachelor degree (master degree preferred) in engineering, business administration or computer science
English language mandatory, French (optional), other European languages (optional), Japanese (optional)


Specific technical skills:

Have good Project Management skills
Clear communication and ability to simplify complex messages.


Ability to find common ground:
conflict resolution and negotiation
Understanding of PSP core added value
Previous project experience will be appreciated.
Experience working in Monozukuri/R&D area a benefit
