Vous ferez partie de la direction Design to Cost et serez rattaché(e) au Product Cost Manager. Et vous serez en charge du DtC sur les modules sanitaires et les sièges des trains ALSTOM.


Le Product Cost Engineer:


  • Estime le coût des équipements pour les appels d'offre et en phase projet pour l'ensemble des sites ALSTOM monde
  • Est force de proposition pour challenger le design et les solutions techniques
  • Identifie les opportunités de gain et travaille avec l'ingénierie, les achats et les fournisseurs pour les mettre en œuvre
- développe des bases de données et des outils afin de fournir des estimations de coûts rapides et fiables

  • Anime la discipline DtC et crée le réseau avec les autres départements d'ALTSOM et les fournisseurs.
  • Participe à l'établissement des standards techniques et DtC pour ALSTOM

Connaissances:


  • Formation d'ingénieur (mécanique, industrialisation, analyse de données CAO)
  • Design to cost (méthodes, leviers, outils)
  • Outils d'estimation des coûts
  • Industrie ferroviaire, solutions et équipements pour le matériel roulant

Compétences:


  • Très bonne maîtrise de l'anglais à l'oral et à l'écrit
  • Capacité à approfondir des sujets techniques et financiers complexes
  • Leadership, capacité à promouvoir de nouvelles idées, à impliquer et à convaincre un large éventail de parties prenantes
  • Compétences de base en VBA
  • Une expérience dans les vitrages, le plancher ou l'intercirculation (gangway) serait un plus
  • Déplacements sur les sites ALSTOM et fournisseurs à prévoir(English version below)
Alstom is investing in the deployment of "Design to Cost" methodology to ensure a higher competitiveness for its projects.

You will be part of the Design to Cost global organization, reporting to the Product cost manager.

And you will be in charge of DtC on sanitary modules and seats for ALSTOM trains.


The Product Cost Engineer:


  • Estimates the cost of the equipments in bid phase and project phase for all ALSTOM sites worldwide
  • Is proactive in order to challenge the desing and the technical solutions
  • Identifies savings and works with Engineering, Procurement, Suppliers to implement them
  • Develops databases and tools in order to provide quick and reliable cost estimations
  • Leads the DtC discipline and the network with other ALTSOM departments and suppliers
  • Participate in setting technical and DtC standards for ALSTOM

Required knowledge:


  • Engineering background (mechanical, industrialization, CAD datas analysis)
  • Design to cost (methods, levers, tools)
  • Cost estimation tools
  • Railway industry, rolling stock solutions and equipments

Required skills:


  • Very good English speaking and writing skills
  • Leadership, ability to push new ideas, involve and convince a wide range of stakeholders
  • Basic skills in VBA
  • Experience on windows, floor, or gangway is an asset
  • Travels on ALSTOM sites and suppliers to foresee
