What you do

You will work in the department Organisational Management which is in charge of driving global IT projects across all lines of business of Allianz Partners.

They act as the main interface between Business Units globally and Allianz Technology, dedicated to provide IT standard services.


Based in the Headquarters (Paris and Munich) and Business Units across the Regions, the team is responsible for prioritisation of back-office investments and fostering harmonisation of processes, through the implementation of the group target platforms.

In this perspective, the team needs to ensure a certain balance between simplifications / standardisation of tools and processes and specific business needs in order to contribute to answer current corporate challenges:
IT cost efficiency, innovation, optimisation of time to market, etc.


Ultimately, the Project Manager structure and steer the Project while orchestrates the design and the implementation of the solution and ensures it answers the needs and specificities of its client (being it internal or external) while maintaining a high level of harmonisation and consistency throughout the Group.


Key Responsibilities

  • Driving special projects, collaborating with internal and external clients: Define structure, Project Governance and manage/coordinate project tasks, risks and issues with all Stakeholder within Allianz or with external consultants, vendors and/or clients, Define with all Stakeholder the Project Planning, Roles & Responsibilities and setup the appropriate Governance and insure the steering of the overall Project, Manage and document all risks, issues and decisions related to projects, Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Leading standard and nonstandards tenders and client onboarding at global/regional/local level ensuring overall coordination and consistency of nonstandard implementations.
  • Coordinating implementation activities with operations and account managers to ensure consistency of the offers and the technical and functional capabilities.
  • Supporting design and implementation of IT solution within your scope: support the identification of current and future needs expressed by internal clients / business, ensure the collection of requirements (clearly defined and supported with business justification and KPIs), Support, if needed, the solution design by identifying appropriate stakeholders,

Deployment Support:
assist local teams in configuration and ramp up planning, ensuring project plans are updated to reflect tasks to be performed


Change Management:

Support deployment while ensuring the right level of communication, provide support for training documentation update, create and follow-up with dashboards and reporting.


  • Innovating OM organisation, structure and strategy: Manage crossdivisional relationships across reporting lines: LoBs (Line of Businesses), regional managers, other departments, facilitate and document lessons learned and suggest improvements throughout the organisation, ensure Agile methodology deployments continue and participate to the life of the team: department initiatives (AES followup, etc.), new joiners onboarding, etc.

What you bring

  • Proven experience in Project Management, Process Optimisation, and Agile methodology
  • Ability in Demand Management, Benefit realisation, budget tracking, IT cost management
  • Experience in Risk management tools and analysis, monitoring and managing interactions with all external, both contractual and noncontractual parties
  • Project Management, Risk Management, Provider and 3rd Party Management, IT & Project related Finance and Accounting skills


  • Consulting, Training Skills

  • Coaching, and HR Management Skills
  • Demonstratable experience in people leadership, negotiating and conflict management
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, demonstrated at Board level
  • Proven ability to transition, individuals, teams and organisations
