Primary Objective of Position

  • The Senior Business Analyst works closely with Abbot Diagnostic (CRDx) France Managing Director, Controller, Pricing and the Commercial team providing data analytics and counsel to overall Abbott's Core Diagnostics business. Ensures proper Month End close.

Major Accountabilities

  • Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements as well as with Abbott policies and procedures.
  • Provides necessary dashboards to the Leadership Team to support the business daily operations.
  • Identifies through data & metrics possible risks and opportunities.
  • Performs adhoc data analysis.
  • Supports financial IBP process for France.
  • Communicates with business partners on needs and strategies, utilizing formal and informal verbal and written communication methods.
  • Supports implementation of process improvements across Departments and work groups. Assists with training and coaching of more junior finance and non finance staff.
  • Participates in various financial projects and provides information to management for decision making.

Education

  • Has a University Degree (BA/BS/MS) in Business or Finance preferred.

Background/Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of related work experience.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and consolidating data, strong database skills.
  • Strong analytical and Data skills.
  • Attention to detail to verify data is error free.
  • Ability to analyse and synthesize business requirements.
  • Good business acumen.
  • Adapts quickly and learns new tasks independently.
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Fluent in English, French is of advantage.
  • Strong team player.
