Verkor is a French industrial company aiming to pioneer low-carbon battery manufacturing in France.

With the backing of prominent industrial companies such as Renault Group, Plastic Omnium and Schneider Electric, Verkor intends to electrify the future of European mobility.

Our strong and agile international team continues to grow and adapt to new challenges. Based in Grenoble (France), we are currently establishing our Verkor Innovation Centre (R&D centre and 4.0 pilot line).

In the coming years, we will focus on building the world's most modern and efficient Gigafactory in Dunkirk (France).

With this facility, our ambition is an initial annual production of 16 Gwh of lithium-ion batteries by 2025, thus powering 300,000 electric vehicles annually and creating 1200 direct jobs.

In joining us you will actively participate in this breathtaking industrial adventure toshape the future of European mobility.

As part of the Operations department, you will participate in the design, improvement, and integration of optimization algorithms that contribute to developing operations system and improving the production performance:

Responsibilities*Within the operations department, you will be responsible for:

Working with operational teams to understand their business
Monitor technology to find the best solution to the given problem
Identify the data needed for these evolutions and implement the flows
Improve the performance of the algorithms
Analyze the results and produce reports explaining them
Describe the approach and present it to operational teams
Integrate the model in a tool and in the process

Requirements:

Engineering school preferred or IUT/DUT in Industrial / Data management field.
Basic Battery knowledge is highly advantageous but not essential
Interest in working in the machinery industry
Strong will to learn and work as a team
Strong will to develop interpersonal relationships and versatile engineering skills
Proficiency in English is highly advantageous (& French mandatory)

Starting internship ASAP for 5-6-months
Possibility to continue or directly begin with an apprenticeship contract
English Application preferred
