We are now recruiting a Financial Analyst, reporting to the Financial Controller for our European HQ team.


Who are you ?


You have an advanced degree in Finance or Accounting and at least three years of finance experience within a matrix structured global company.


You also have the following:
Knowledge and Skills

  • Excel, PP, BPC & Power BI Proficiency
  • English language proficiency it's the working language of the European HQ

  • You understand the business you support and are able to establish and execute quickly against priorities
  • Curious in nature, you see and pursue opportunities proactively
  • A true problemsolver, you analyze the data, and look for and propose creative yet simple solutions
  • You enjoy communication and know how and when to present information, including to senior business leaders

What can we accomplish together?


By integrating AbbVie as a Financial Analyst, you will help us to consolidate and analyze the Europe Area financials across 22 affiliates, 3 Regions & 5 Large Business Units You will also contribute to the company's and Europe Area's strategic imperatives by providing the Europe Area Senior Finance Analysts, Controller, FD and designated commercial teams with intuitive financial analysis and planning support.

Within this context, your principal responsibilities will be to:

  • Prepare and consolidate templates for key planning cycle, i.e. Plan, Update, and LRP. This which includes financial templates creation, consolidation and preparation of management review packages; as well as working closely with affiliates to understand the business and analyze submissions
  • Contribute to the preparation & consolidation of the Area monthly S&OP and LBE submission
  • Colead the monthly Actuals report, which includes preparation of actual Europe sales and P&L reports and consolidation of affiliates submissions
  • Key contributor for the Area planning system transition
  • Taking part in projects across Europe systems, financial reporting standardization, etc.
  • Power BI reports' development & key point of contact across Europe
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to support complex decisionmaking of Area management team
