Who are we ?

The creation of Volta Medical follows the discovery of a new complex medical procedure to treat atrial fibrillation (the most common cardiac arrhythmia in the world) by the company's founders, world experts in interventional rhythmology and intracardiac signal analysis.

Volta Medical is an innovative start-up based in Marseille, whose goal is to provide a range of artificial intelligence-based products to guide the cardiologist during ablation-type procedures.

We started this adventure 7 years ago and our team now has nearly 90 employees in France, Germany and the United States We completed a $27 million Series A round in November 2020 and a $36 million Series B round in January 2023.

Missions:

Develop, test, and maintain architectures such as databases and machine learning pipelines.
Collaborate with data scientists to understand their needs for infrastructure, tooling, and frameworks.
Implement automation, effective monitoring, and infrastructureascode.
Deploy machine learning models into production, monitor performance, and troubleshoot any issues.
Ensure data privacy and implement measures to secure sensitive information.
Maintain systems for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from a variety of sources.

Qualifications:

You have proven experience as an MLOps Engineer or similar role in Data Science.
You have proficiency in commandline tools and scripting languages, including bash.
You have experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
You have knowledge of data management and visualization techniques.
You have strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
You have a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, which is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

You have deep expertise in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), with a specific proficiency with GitLab, and familiarity with version control systems.
You have familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker, Docker Swarm, and Kubernetes.
You have experience with Python dependency management and packaging tools.
You have experience with AWS cloud platforms, specifically with services like S3 and EC
You have strong skills in data parsing and manipulation for various data formats.
You have an understanding of infrastructureascode concepts.
You have basic knowledge of secrets management tools like Vault.
You have some familiarity with observability tools, including monitoring and alerting systems.

A salary ranging from €50,000 to €55,000 gross per year, depending on your profile
