Role and Responsibilities:

  • Determines the cost of operations by establishing product costs and analyzing the margin by product.
  • Identifies the financial situation by comparing and analyzing actual results with plants and forecasts.
  • Support plant managers, sales representatives and other stakeholders to: analyze results (revenues and costs) and margin; follow deviations; follow investment processes (including calculation of financial justification and postinvestment review); identify business trends
  • Reconciles transactions ensuring consistency between the different dimensions
  • Establishment of budgets by site
  • Support operations and supply chain in improving inventory management, including inventories, reconciliations, periodic reviews of obsolete and slowmoving inventory and recommending writeoffs
  • Ensures database is updated and integrity checks are performed
  • Analyzes, interprets data and performs comparative analyses; studies proposed changes in methods and materials.
  • Commercial partnership: Work in close collaboration with sales representatives, operations in order to provide them with all the necessary support
  • Monthly close activities:

Close support:
work with the business service team in Italy to ensure the books are properly completed in a timely manner

  • Budget:
prepare annual budget exercise and quarterly forecasting process for respective factories.


About you:

  • This is a position that involves daily contact with the sites in order to develop analyses of variances, costs, projects, contracts, activity reports, etc. It is therefore necessary to have experience as a financial analyst or controller in an operational field.
  • Knowledge of the principles of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control
  • Accounting experience in IFRS and French GAAP an advantage
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Ability to analyse financial data, prepare financial reports, statements and projections
  • Capable of analysing the profitability of products
  • Fluent in English and French
