Technical Sales Specialist, Applied Markets South-West Europe:

This role is responsible for growing the sales and visibility of the Control Temperature (Incubators, Ovens, Furnaces), Water Purification (Laboratory point-of-use water production), Water Analysis Instruments (Laboratory, field and online water testing) and Laboratory Essential Equipment (Shakers, Mixers, Hot plates) portfolios in South-West Europe (France, Benelux, Italy, Iberia), with a special focus on the Applied Markets vertical segment (industry), where to build a foundation for long term growth.

It involves the best collaboration with Laboratory Products Division (LPD) commercial team and regional leadership, commercial product management and business units in addition to other supporting functions to drive sales optimally into the market.

A passionate and curious Specialist who enjoys being around customers to empathize their challenges. We will work together driving the development of sales and help implement the products strategic roadmap.

Working closely with Key Opinion Leaders and customers to understand what they seek to accomplish, you will become our internal segment champion by articulating why the innovative solutions to be developed will enable successes of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Achieve set annual targets for product portfolio by developing and driving execution of product strategies.


Work closely with Regional Sales and Channel Teams to identify market and customer opportunities in order to increase market share and revenue growth.

Maintain relationships at key accounts and help support development of these accounts alongside LPD sales team.

Provide technical product expertise to assist with all phases of the sales cycle.

Support and facilitate market research into key market & pricing trends and evolving customer requirements.

Share the voice of customer towards the Business Unit and attend visits to Business Unit manufacturing and R&D sites; Support new Product Introduction (NPI) prospects within territory to improve adoption rates and revenue return

Travel estimated at 60%.

Experience/Qualifications/Qualities:

Minimum BSc within Life Sciences


Several years' of successful experience in a sales or marketing position in industry, academia, or equivalent with exposure to laboratory consumables and equipment.

Demonstrated excellence in sales.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions and observations from market trends and unit analysis

Proven success operating in a matrix organization and getting results through professional influence.

Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communications skills.

Demonstrated ability to operate independently, with initiative, and good business judgment


Strong interpersonal and time management skills:

Language:
English and French proficient
