ABOUT THE ROLE
The Business Development Manager in Arrow will be responsible for the management of existing and potential customers.


The primary outcome is to drive profitable growth in the partner landscape through the acquisition of new logos as well as management and growth of existing customers.

They will be required to define customer and vendor needs and execute against a sales plan to develop and grow the business.

The role will involve relationship management and development across both our partners and vendors to ensure trust and mutual execution of business purposes.

The position is a hybrid work and can be based in one of our offices in UK (Newmarket or Harrogate), Germany (Munich) or France (Paris).

What will you be doing at Arrow Enterprise Solutions?

  • You will be responsible for demand creation:
  • You will run market analysis & analyze the internal history data (partners, sales...) to identify & target areas to create demand for Arrow across EMEA
  • Identify & qualify prospects (partners & end customers) in coordination with the in country sales teams, analyze the sales potential and prioritize high return opportunities for further investment
  • Promote Managed services offering to generate new business opportunities across EMEA
  • Sales Generation:
  • You will develop strategic customer marketing & sales plans across EMEA
  • Engage and enable new partners to drive incremental sales
  • Take ownership of large or complex projects where appropriate, dealing with end users to ensure key benefits have been understood, objections removed, budget approved and that they move to a successful conclusion
  • Enable partners & end users by providing regular training
  • Understand Arrow resources available to support and how to leverage these at the appropriate time to close opportunities
  • Relationships
  • You will build partner and supplier business relationships by having a good knowledge of current & future industry & competitor's offerings, trends & technology
  • Learn how to become embedded in accounts
  • Develop and maintain a broad relationship with partners/end customers, suppliers & Arrow colleagues across EMEA
What are we looking for?

  • Previous sales experience in selling IT & managed services as well as working with partners and end users
  • Business Development & Sales experience for 10 years+ demonstrating consistent over achievement in sales contribution
  • Experience of working within a matrix organisation
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced team environment
  • Excellent organization and creativity skills
