To support the continuous growth of Valeo eAutomotive in the PEM department we are looking for a Global Software Department Manager (M/F/d) at the earliest opportunity.


Your new task - thrilling and future-oriented- You are responsible to hierarchically (same location)/functionally (remote location) manage your group(s) of managers/engineers / technicians in a given competency area.- You balance the workload and the technical competency over all your teams functionally and hierarchically reporting to you.- You especially ensure that your groups have the right level of capabilities, competencies and expertise and further train them.- You and your department support the project teams in the solution of key technical challenges and to adapt new technologies.- You help the projects to correctly estimate the workload and you are responsible that your team achieves it's commitments.- You define a cost efficient location strategy.- You are responsible for deploying and implementing the "state of the art" standards, processes, methods & tools in your department and your take care of the worldwide standardization of the processes.- You constantly check / audit the implementation of the standards and in case of deviation take counter measures.- You have the direct link with the BG and the complete Valeo-Group for standards, audits and knowledge management.
