What you'll do:

First, you'll be onboarded within the team to understand the SAP Analytics Cloud solution, our development culture and delivery process, then as a Front-End Development Intern, you'll:

Work together with scrum teams composed of software developers, quality engineers, and product experts to understand and analyze features requirements
Read and understand User Experience and Functional specifications
Read and understand Technical Designs
Contribute to Technical Designs with Software Architects and Software Developers
Implement Front-End components according to specifications and designs
Add automated tests to guarantee the quality of developments
Fix defects that may have been introduced during development
Collaborate in the implementation of the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelines

What you bring:

We're looking for a team player who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious:

Good general knowledge of Front-End programming technologies
Programming skills for UI development and skills with technologies like React, TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS and Webpack
Handson experience with Git/GitHub
Excellent communication skills in English and French (at least B2 level in both)

Our team is part of SAP HANA Database & Analytics organization, our mission is to contribute to SAP Cloud transformation, our product is SAP Analytics Cloud, the SAP Analytics Cloud solution combines BI, augmented and predictive analytics, and planning capabilities into one cloud environment.

As the analytics layer of SAP's Business Technology Platform, it supports advanced analytics enterprise-wide.

SAP Analytics Cloud earned a Top-Rated predictive analytics award from Trust Radius based directly on feedback from customers. Reviewers highlight the product's data analytics and visualization, simple user interface, and support for data integration.

Based in Paris and working closely with different SAP Analytics Cloud development teams across the globe (Walldorf, Vancouver, Dublin, Shanghai, Bangalore, and others), our team is responsible of building and delivering high-level front-end components for SAP Analytics Cloud solution.

We manage all phases of software development, from design to operational support, implementation, quality assurance and deployment.

We offer a 6-months internship to a student (in his last year of studies) in computer science engineering to work within our development team on react Front-End components development topics.

This student will be under the responsibility of a manager and a technical coach.
