You will be leading all engineering and technology efforts for our Services team.

This team is responsible for building, maintaining and evolving the foundations of functions needed to deliver a Shared Mobility service.

The team is a backend team which is responsible for many domains such as Service Pricing, Payment, Geospatial functionalities, Region services, Telemetry processing, Partner APIs, Operations and backend tooling.


What you'll do:


  • Lead all Software Engineering for Services at Dott, with a strong collaboration with our Rider, Operations and Platform teams.
- **Technology**: you are responsible for executing the Engineering vision. The team is highly technical, performance monitoring and scaling are drivers to reach high standards. You must be fluent in TypeScript.
- **Process**: The team is using the scrum methodology and is self managed. You are accountable for the process to be applied.
- **People Management**:
  • You will be responsible for leading the team strategy and vision
  • You will be involved in the hiring process
  • You will be coaching the developers in their career development
- **Site Ops**: Our systems run 24/7 where hundreds of thousands of users and many municipalities rely on our services. Your team is responsible for the quality and reliability of our vehicle systems.

  • Understanding System architecture
  • Backend implementation knowledge
  • Testing and deployment expertise for updating live systems
  • Understanding the challenges of managing remote fleets
  • Team Lead skills for a dynamic environment
