Job Title: Municipal Police Officers at Ville de Poitiers

Responsibilities:

• Ensure public order, safety, and cleanliness throughout the city.
• Patrol designated areas to prevent incidents.
• Engage in community policing initiatives.
• Provide information to the public and address concerns if needed.
• Collaborate with National Police.
• Participate in crime prevention and public safety efforts.

Requirements:

• Hold a Public Service qualification or pass the municipal police officer exam.
• Strong knowledge of municipal policing regulations.
• Public service orientation, attention to detail, team player.
• Good physical condition, ability to work night shifts.

Equipment Provided:

• B and D Category Weapons: Tonfa, telescopic baton, tear gas containers.
• Bulletproof vests, radios, body cameras.
• Electronic report tools, breathalyzers, animal identification chips reader.

Training sessions embedded in the normal service setup.

Tranquillity Group:

• Work shifts: Monday to Friday from 07:45 to 15:30 and 14:15 to 22:00 alternately every other week, with every third Saturday from 14:15 to 22:00.
