This opportunity is part of ISB France team. It could be based in 38 Avenue Kleber Paris or at Corporate Banking Centre Rhône-Alpes in Lyon.
The working hours are Monday to Friday.
ISB provides banking coverage to the French subsidiaries of Commercial Banking (CMB) customers within the Large Corporate and Mid

  • Market Enterprise segments. The ISB region team is comprised of 5 Relationship Managers (RM) located in the different Corporate Banking Centres based outside of Paris: 2 RM in CBC Rhône-Alpes, 1 RM in CBC Sud-Ouest, 1 RM in CBC Grand Ouest and 1 RM in CBC Nord de France.

ISB consists of an experienced, dynamic and motivated team responsible for developing the relationship with this international clientele, which is one of the key strategic priorities for the group.


TASKS:

The main tasks for this role consist of:

  • Manage and develop the banking relationship with the ISB clientele.
  • Undertake financial, credit, profitability and industry sector analysis, and prepare the accounts remarks.
  • Support the RMs in monitoring credit risk including Watch/Worry/Monitor lists and credit control reports, and analyse management information.
  • Collaborate with Group colleagues (including Global Relationship Managers) to deliver appropriate needsbased solutions for customers
  • Assist the RMs with analysis of the profitability of finance deals (use of ORC, preparation of DPC).
  • Assist the team management with the preparation of dashboards and Powerpoint presentations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of customer information, including Know your Customer (KYC) requirements, in Group systems.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal skills with a consultative selling approach and high-level presentation skills.

You have an acumen for developing the relationship with and providing excellent service to Corporate customers whilst respecting HSBC's global standards.

You have an ability to anticipate clients' needs and tailor service delivery to them.
Excellent time management, planning and organisation skills. Excellent ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Solid knowledge of the banking products and services offered to Corporate clients, and you are at ease in an international environment.

Knowledge of Global Liquidity and Cash Management, Global Banking and Markets, Trade and Receivables Finance products and capabilities, an ability to develop an advanced customer dialogue (macro-economic and industry related knowledge, Corporate financing solutions) and an ability to manage the risks associated with this type of clientele in an international environment.

A fluent level of written and spoken English and French is required for this role, as well as an advanced level of Excel and PowerPoint.
