- Support processes development and improvement, and validate product definitions through design review and program review
- Manage plastics transformations activities within the Process Specialists entity (feasibility check, process/Tooling/Equipments definitions, prototyping, setup, capitalization and standardization, series production support, supplier development)
- Ensure development and deployment of process standards, design checklist and guidelines, best practices
- Support programs, plants and suppliers for process improvements, issues or change requests
- Maintain an equipment and tooling database
- Define process and associated Machineries for PE/PA transformation into plastic parts (liners), taking into consideration product and industrial constraints, as well as lessons learned
- Develop and capitalize processes and specifications related to his/her Field of expertise (Standardization)
- Regarding innovative solutions, validate technologic choices through robust process validation plans (including DOE)
- Demonstrate product manufacturability
- Supervise prototypes and pre-series manufacture, propose improvement ideas
- Specify and validate Machineries respecting QCD and industrial rules (FES)
- Participate to tooling follow-up and validations
- Support Tooling and Machines receptions, start-up and set-up
- Ensure competencies transfer to Plants site (trainings, debugging, reaction rules ...), transversalize good practices within the Plastic network Team
- Respect the rules of safety & environment management system
- Take into consideration security constraints related to Hydrogen and high pressure when defining manufacturing processes
- Specify, maintain and propose improvements of standard process in his/her domain of Expertise (tooling, equipment)
- Support Purchasing Team while developing Tooling & Equipment suppliers, and support Suppliers on problem solving
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PE/PA transformation processes (blowmolding) and ideally knowledges in rotomolding, overmolding plastics joining/welding
- Plant experiences are preferred: methods, manufacturing, set-up
- Process set-up experience, machine programming
- Tooling design and validation skills
- Knowledges in PA/PE material properties.
- Plastic processes simulation software is also appreciated
- Knowledge in plastic joining is a plus
- Familiar with the Lean Manufacturing and Program Management Systems
- Strong communication skills, ability to formalize, structure and capitalize know-how
