Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients.

We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with engineering, design, and business teams.


What you'll do:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Clinical Platform domain.


You will join a feature team at the core of the Clinical Platform in charge of the prescription module and the connections with medical providers such as Vidal or MMI.

This module is at the center of our product as it's used by thousands of practitioners every day.

Within a team of 6 software engineers, you will work on improving the French prescription module and on the development of new modules for Germany and other countries in the future.


Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement features to improve healthcare access for patients
  • Bring your expertise and past experiences to help us continuously improve the way we design, implement, test and monitor highquality features
  • Improving the performance of key features implemented in React (TypeScript/Javascript) and Ruby on Rails, sometimes completely challenging the status quo
  • Taking leadership on delivering roadmap items (together with the team)
  • Contributing to establishing a technical vision and codrive the creation of the roadmap for next quarters

Who you are:

  • You have at least 5 years of software engineering experience, including Frontend expertise. Our stack is Javascript/Typescript and Ruby on Rails, but any experience with similar frameworks is welcomed and valued.
  • You are proactive, curious, collaborative and eager to learn
  • You have a "user first" mindset and want to build a product focused on bringing value to its users, through secure, welltested and pragmatic code.
  • You are very focused on code quality and have a rigorous testing culture
  • You are eager to share your knowledge and help the team grow by pair programming and mentoring.
