Position Summary

JOB PURPOSE

JOB ACTIVITIES

Study and design new products within project teams.
Study and design adaptations to standard products in response to calls for tender.
Participate in project management or manage it directly, according to the requirements of the development process.
Participate in product and process FMEAs and their updating.
Report on project progress.
Define and participate in tests to validate product performance according to the company's development process.
Participates in drawing up and defining technical and economic specifications for new products and range extensions.
Analyze and respond to sales force requests.
Improve or modify existing products, taking into account internal or external requests.
Manage technical product developments in liaison with suppliers
Distribute validated technical developments
Planning and monitoring project activities.
Draw up project plan files.
Update and manage project documents.
Ensure compliance with company policies.
Lead project meetings.
Liaise with suppliers to implement technical upgrades requested by internal or external departments.
Design and develop industrialization methods for new and existing products.

SKILLS AND PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE

Industrial mechanical design engineer level or equivalent (electronics option).
Indepth knowledge of pneumatics and electromechanics.
Knowledge of special machine design for industry.
Good command of product quality tools
Proficiency in office automation tools
Proficiency in CAD software
Good interpersonal skills, good communication skills, ability to summarize, listening skills and ability to make proposals.
Meeting facilitation skills
Fluency in English (reading, speaking and writing).
