Accor Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) - Astore, is Accor's fast-growing and innovative Procurement department, revolutionizing the hospitality sector by offering responsible products and services necessary to ensure the proper functioning of all hospitality businesses.

Collaborating with ~5000 suppliers across the world, Accor GPO - Astore is covering most of hospitality needs. A team of ~260 experts serving ~8,000 customers in 30 countries sources, negotiates, and promotes sustainable & competitive offers.

Accor GPO - Astore's organization is global (with Holding teams and Luxury & Lifestyle teams) and local (with Premium / Midscale / Economy teams based in 4 Hubs: Europe North Africa, Middle East Asia Pacific, Americas, Greater China).

The Holding organization has several poles: Global Category Management, Procurement Digital Factory and Sustainability, Strategy & Finance.

These projects have been linked to formal commitments with NGOs, industry bodies and access to finance that increases the requirement to deliver the projects on time, to standard and in a transparent manner.


Accor GPO - Astore has a key role to play in Accor Sustainability Strategy as the intermediary between the Group and all nominated suppliers.

  • Its own transformation in terms of offers, processes & tools

Job Description:

Reporting to the Procurement Sustainability, Strategy & Communication Executive Director in the Sustainability, Strategy & Finance team, the Procurement Sustainability Projects Manager will lead / contribute to Procurement sustainability projects for Accor GPO - Astore, among which:1- The reduction of waste with a focus on single-use and problematic plastics

2- The respect of Accor Sustainable Food Charter with a focus on animal welfare

3- The transition towards a nature-positive supply chain, etc.

The Procurement Sustainability Projects Manager will be responsible of (non-exhaustive list):

  • Project planning: action plans & Key Performance Indicators definition
  • Project management: project governance, progresses monitoring, internal & external stakeholders coordination, reporting to top management, maintenance of project documentation, etc.
  • Processes / methodology: support to Procurement teams for the achievement of objectives & transformation of procurement practices (e.g., sourcing guidelines, sharing of best practices, training material, etc.)
  • Internal communication: centralization & sharing of information from/to Accor GPO
  • Astore Premium / Midscale / Economy teams, Luxury & Lifestyle teams, Holding teams, other Accor departments (Sustainability, Operations, Marketing, etc.)
  • External communication: communication to suppliers (Accor's commitments) & customers (new offers available / changes of usage / do's & don'ts, etc.)
  • Digital tools: support to local & digital teams to ensure ecommerce platforms are compliant with Accor's commitments & participation in efforts to increase visibility of sustainable solutions
  • Sustainability business intelligence / innovation


The Procurement Sustainability Projects Manager will be part of a new Procurement Sustainability Team in charge of the acceleration of Accor GPO - Astore sustainability transformation.
