Alba Dantas

Salut,

My name is Alba Dantas and I have just finished my masters in Footwear Design at Institut Français de la mode in Paris. Before I did my degree in Fashion Design at the School of Architecture of the University of Lisbon.I am currently doing an internship as an accessories designer assistant at Louis Vuitton that finishes around may, before I was also at Isabel Marant in the accessories department. 

After this phase of experimentation and learning, it is time to find another challenge to develop and consolidate the knowledge acquired as well as to learn new ways of looking at fashion design.

To understand more about me I can show you my portfolio, with some of the work done over the last few years, in Portugal, Milan, Italy, where I spent a semester studying knitwear, and Paris, where I specialised in footwear. I can do traditional embroidery and knitting and many other things, and love prototyping and working the material directly.

My professional experiences concern different brands with a variety of visions and methods of working. It provided me a good vision of the fashion industry and the many ways it's conducted in the present.

My speciality is footwear bags and accessories but I am passionate about creation in general.
