I am en experienced senior commercial manager and contracts manager. My qualifications include an MSc in Construction Law & Arbitration attained in January 2004.
My background is in building and civil engineering with foundation in practical training in building trades and undergraduate vocational training working on construction sites.
As a result of my focus on practical training in the earliest stages of my professional development I have always concentrated on innovative solutions with emphasis on practical application and results.
I like to get immersed in a problem and enjoy finding solutions. I think through a variety of possible outcomes and ways to achieve the most desired outcome, applying the technical, commercial and leadership skills that I learned from the start of my career and that I have fostered throughout my professional life as an engineer and commercial manager.

Expérience

1982 to 2018
Appointed in 1982 as junior post-graduate engineer working in the design offices of Sir Alexander Gibb & Partner (Cyprus), assigned to road and drainage studies in the Yemen and Sultanate of Oman before being transferred as site engineer in Kenya, Malawi, Somalia, and Botswana achieving promotion to Resident Engineer working on World Bank funded road and water development projects.
Since 1989 until 2013 worked in site supervision for Coode & Partners and Mastro Engineering on the Deepening of Larnaca Port and Kokkinokhoria Southern Conveyor Irrigation Project, and subsequently in senior commercial and procurement management positions of responsibility in Cyprus, Middle East, Europe, Russia, United Kingdom employed by consultant James R Knowles and leading project management and construction companies including MK International Ltd, Balfour Beatty Management, Tube Lines, Colas Rail and Balfour Beatty Rail.
Since 2013 and until 2018 worked with Parsons International and TiME (Turner International Middle East) in Qatar as senior commercial manager on the Lusail Project and Msheireb Project.
 

Éducation

Moved to live in Aude, France since 2019, registered as microentrepreneur providing consultancy advisory services for private property refurbishment, conservation and repair.
Currently looking for new employment.
