Gaelle Rannard

Postdoctoral fellow at the School of Management, University of Bath for 18 months fully-funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF). I received a PhD in Management from the University of Geneva and University of Savoie Mont-Blanc in January 2021.
Passionate about the voluntary sector, my research is related to social and environmental issues, corporate and
NGO partnerships and business models. I have published several papers in academic journals (NVSQ)
and have presented at numerous international conferences. 
 

My academic background and professional experiences have given me a wide platform from which I can contribute and extend the research with your organisation and is as follows: I have a PhD in Management from the University of Geneva (Switzerland) and the University of Savoie Mont-Blanc (France), and two Masters in Management and Human and Social Sciences from the University of Savoie Mont-Blanc and University of Lyon 2 (France). My PhD aims to propose a novel conceptualisation of business models in the non-profit sector to better understand the underlying mechanisms of societal value creation and capture. After my PhD, I did a postdoctoral mobility during 18 months at the School of Management, University of Bath (UK), which is my current position. I’m currently working on business model changes and social innovation exploring how some non-profit organisations create social enterprises to support business model changes.
