Guilhem Stevant

I am currently starting my second year at ENSIMAG, a top French Engineering School, in which I am undertaking in a Financial Engineering Master’s Degree. I am looking for a summer internship to boost my financial experience and knowledge.

I believe that my skills acquired during my first and second years would make me a valuable asset to your firm. Indeed I had the opportunity to explore many aspects of computer science, finance and mathematics, learning several languages (Python, C, Java, R, LaTeX), as well as various numerical methods (linear algebra, data mining, multivariate statistics, numerical optimization). The different projetcts also learned to me to work in a team environment and to improve my synthesis and oral skills by presenting these projects in front of jurys.

Furthermore I am convinced that my experience earned at BNP–Paribas PF and during my extracurriculars activities would help me during this internship. I learned to work under pressure BNP–Paribas PF, pay attention to details and I developped my negociation skills. I also acquire organizational skills working at the « Cercle des élèves » of Ensimag.

At the moment I have only done summer jobs to pay for my studies. I started as a landscape worker.
Last year I worked in collections at BNP Personal Finance. I had to assess the situation of customers who were in arrears with their credit payments, find a solution adapted to their situation and negotiate so that they would follow the plan that I had found for them.

I am currently studying at Ensimag in Grenoble, France. It is one of the best engineering schools in France in applied mathematics and computer science. I joined the financial engineering course where we follow courses in both mathematics applied to finance such as statistical products but also in finance such as the study of financial markets or companies
