Bonjour! My name is Hyunji and I'm a sociology student at Sorbonne University. I'm currently looking for a summer internship in marketing and I'm excited to explore how my sociological background and skills in data analysis can contribute to the food industry. I've been passionate about food since I was young and I believe that studying it through a sociological lens can provide valuable insights into the relationship between food and society. In fact, I'm planning to do my thesis on food study next year. I'm confident that my analytical skills and enthusiasm for food would make me a valuable addition to any marketing team.

As someone who has worked in a bakery sales job while studying sociology, I have gained a unique perspective on the food industry and the importance of marketing. In my role, I observed firsthand the power of effective marketing in driving sales and attracting customers. From creative product displays to social media promotions, marketing played a crucial role in making our bakery stand out in a competitive market.

Furthermore, working in the food industry sparked my interest in food study and the sociological implications of food choices. For example, I noticed that vegan items were marketed as "healthy" or "natural" despite containing high levels of sugar or preservatives. This led me to research the impact of food marketing on consumer behavior and how it can influence our perceptions of what is "healthy" or "good" to eat.

Overall, my experience in bakery sales has inspired me to pursue further study in food marketing and sociology. My sociology studies have provided me with a strong foundation in data analysis using R, which I believe will be invaluable in my marketing internship.
