Hello! My name is Julie, and I currently work in events coordination within a European organisation.
My role involves planning, organising and delivering a wide range of events – including meetings, conferences and hybrid workshops – in collaboration with various working groups and external stakeholders.
I manage all logistical aspects from start to finish: booking venues, coordinating speakers, managing registrations, preparing materials, monitoring budgets, and handling post-event evaluation.
I also support the communications side of events by helping to draft invitations, update websites, create content for newsletters and social media, and contribute to reporting afterwards.
The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to last-minute changes. I work in both English and French and am confident using a range of digital tools related to project management, communications and event delivery.
Expérience
I am an experienced Events and Communications Coordinator with a background in organising professional events for European institutions and stakeholder groups. I manage all aspects of event planning and delivery — from logistics and speaker coordination to communications, budgeting and evaluation — with strong attention to detail and a calm, solution-focused approach. I work fluently in English and French and bring a solid command of digital tools to support effective, high-quality event experiences.
Éducation
I hold a Master’s Degree in Law, specialising in Patent and Intellectual Property, from the University of Nantes in France (2010–2012). Prior to that, I completed a Bachelor of Science in Law at the University of West Brittany in Brest, France (2007–2010).
