Léah Faust-Taieb

I passed the New York bar examination and I am in the process of being certified in order to be able to practice law in the State of New York. 

I have an international academic background as I studied in the United States, in France and in Ireland. I decided to specialise in the data privacy and technologies law field three years ago, which I studied in University.  I have worked in the data privacy departments of major international law firms and developed knowledge in both EU law (GDPR, ePrivacy, etc.) and US law (CCPA, HIPAA, BIPA, etc.). 

I did many internship throughout my studies, in various legal fields (criminal law, labour law, commercial law, etc.). However, I decided to focus, three years ago, on data privacy law and commercial transactions as well. I have worked as a paralegal and as a legal trainee for international law firms since then (Allen & Overy, Hogan Lovells, Oberkampf Avocats). 

After my Master's degree in Comparative Business Law I graduated from in 2019, I pursued my LLM at Chicago Kent College of Law (Illinois Institute of Technology), during which I specialised in data privacy, e-commerce law, new technologies law and related courses. 

After graduating in 2020, I decided that I wanted to specialise in this field, hence my professional experiences' choices.
