Having worked within a wide range of positions of an educator throughout my university career, it is with great determination that I apply for the post of an English teacher at your school. Having recently graduated from Middlebury College with a Masters Degree in French with a specialization in pedagogy and linguistics, I spent the 2021-2022 academic year completing coursework at the Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris 3) in the department of didactics.

After working as a language assistant at Lycée Dhuoda in 2013-2014 where I taught English at the high school level, I returned to the United States to work for SEPHORA as a class facilitator and education coordinator within the sales realm. There, I spent six years in the cosmetics industry using both French and English where I was utilised for my experience in education, development, and coaching.

Apart from these experiences, I have also been contracted by the Jefferson County Schools system in Louisville, Kentucky between from 2008-2013 where I taught technology, music, and cultural awareness to students with specialised learning needs on a freelance basis.

I am currently employed by Francis Parker School in Louisville, KY as a full-time substitute teacher of multiple subjects including : Math, Language Arts, Music, Science, and Spanish. I also work as a private tutor for students at the high school level.

Upon receiving my Masters degree, I hope to bring my experiences in both France and the United States to work as a language teacher with your school. I have a rich and flexible methodology and wrote my Master’s thesis on classroom emotions with hopes to provide an inclusive and efficient teaching practice to a diverse range of learners.
