Maelia Duhart

Currently in my second year of general engineering studies at IMT Mines Alès school in France, I specialize in computer science and artificial intelligence. Data science is an area of greatest interest to me and I want to develop my career in it.

I’ve been working every summer since I was 16. I was a cashier at a supermarket on the Spanish border and also a waitress at a restaurant. These summer jobs have accustomed me to work which allows me to bear a large workload.

My most relevant training is my preparatory class for scientific engineering schools. These are two or three years of very intensive studies that prepare us to run competitions to enter engineering school. This is my most relevant training as it has brought me skills such as rigor, perseverance, organization and stress management and I think that through these skills I am able to learn effectively and adapt to any new subject.
