Maren Matingsdal

My name is Maren Matingsdal. I grew up and studied in Norway until the end of my bachelor in business administration and I recently graduated from a Master’s degree in International Finance in France.

I am currently looking for a CDI in Finance in Paris.

Note: Norwegian is my native language and I understand Danish and Swedish. I am fluent in English, and I also hold a B2 (professional level) certification in French.

I am currently in charge of Private Equity and M&A coverage for Arx Corporate Finance (Fintech specialised in Corporate Finance and Private Equity). My goal on this position is to gain further experience and expertise in the field of corporate finance and business anlysis. The tasks entrusted to me are varied, including: Sourcing and calibration of transaction opportunities, Database modellisation on Excel, preparation of monthly internal reports of costs, Attend sales meetings with clients, etc. 

This experience follows a 6-months internship as a Carbon Data Analyst that I completed in Carbon 4 Finance, where I worked on environmental performance analysis of companies. This gives me a strong knowledge about ESG/sustainability & impact transversal that companies will have to implement in the following years. Beside of my studies, my financial background has been strengthened by my qualification to the French final of CFA Institute Research Challenge and my participation to a 1-month bootcamp organised by CFA Society France in July 2022.

Before moving to France, I worked as an accounting assistant in Stavanger (Norway) and I went through several part time jobs besides of my studies.

I graduated from a Triple Master's degree in international Finance in Ecole Superiere d'Economie et du Management des Patrimoines (ESEMAP). 

The courses were organised this way: 1st and 3rd semester in France, 2nd semester in Italy and 4th semester in Poland.  

This master has an agreement with the universities of Angers (France), Macerata (Italy) and
Torun (Poland), where graduates obtain a master’s degrees from all three institutions.

The program aims to educate future professionals in corporate finance and market finance
working in an intercultural context. Classes are dispensed by high-level scholars and
professionals.
