Hello !

My name is Marie, I'm French and I'm 23. I've just graduated from the engineering school INSA Lyon (National Institute of Applied Sciences) as a Civil engineer and I'm now looking for a permanent contract as an engineer. I just completed my internship that took place at HILTI France’s Project Management Office/Technical Service, during my 2nd and final semester. I worked there as a technical engineer, developing and modelling modular supports for HVAC systems and non-structural parts of buildings and other infrastructures. I developed piping supports, industrial platforms and even flooring, and oversaw contacting the field engineers, business developers as well as the clients.

I’m now looking for a full-time position in design offices, BIM design offices, HVAC design offices, technical coordination, or similar roles that combine engineering, modelling, collaboration, and innovation.

I did an internship in free valuation during the summer my 3rd year, it was very technical and the expert had to basically evaluate/make an estimation of the damages done. 

And my other more valuable professional experience is my final year's internship at HILTI France's technical office, where I gained hands-on experience in technical support for HVAC network fastening and anchoring systems, working closely with sales teams and clients. This role helped me better understand the technical challenges and expectations of design offices.

I studied, for the most part, at the engineering school of INSA Lyon, in France and I went on a exchange in Barcelona at the ETSECCPB (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya). There I challenged myself by taking some courses in Spanish, and took some classes of Catalan. I studied various fields from Urban mobility, Project management, Restauration of historical structures, building structures and many other subjects at INSA Lyon.

I am also part of the Unitech International society which permitted me to make my exchange, my internship and a business case truly valuable experiences by getting insights from academic and corporate partners and meeting students from different countries in Europe !
