Misha Duranton

My name is Misha DURANTON, I am 22 years old and a student in business. I have always had an interest in business and especially international business which led me to study at a business school which allows its students to have an opening on the world while studying the different fundamentals of marketing, finance, and business. Through my part time jobs before I started business school, I learned organization skills and creativity since I worked in different clothing stores in the center of Paris, I was responsible for the layout in the store but also organizing the storage. I also worked in a luxury shoe store in the Galerie Lafayette where I was required to have a certain standard of working because of the type of customers which also helped me develop my English skills because most of them were tourists. I have also visited many countries before and even did an internship in London a few years ago. 

Team spirit is one of my strong points, as I have worked in stores with big teams before. Furthermore, I am part of an association called IPAG City in my school which reunites more than 40 people with whom I must work with throughout the year. I am part of the Green Pole, which means that my activities in the association revolve mainly around ecology and sustainability, generally showing how we can have more sustainable behavior to protect the future of our planet. I am also responsible for part of the communication for the association, so I am very at ease with social media and creating content for a group. I am therefore very interested in technology and communication.

I have many skills that I can use for this job, indeed I have excellent communication skills which will help me communicate with other members of the enterprise. As I said before I am extremely organized and efficient thanks to my multiple experiences in big stores, and I have a great team spirit which will help me work among my coworkers.

I have been working since I finished high school, I have worked in luxury in a shoe store called Biondini in the Galeries Lafayettes, but I have also worked in a lot of different clothing stores in Paris where I was in charge of the management of the inventory but also the clients. I have different experiences such as babysitting children from age 6 to 12 and tutoring as well. I am currently in business school and want to do international business later in my studies.

This experience made me want to work in the luxury business later in my life.
