Zia Software LLC — Albuquerque, NM, 2017-Present

• Research and Development: Built tools and proof-of-concept web projects using technologies such as React, JavaScript, Mono in WebAssembly, and Platform Uno. Performed much early bug-testing for WebAssembly offering from Platform Uno.
• Emerging Technology: Worked to port existing projects in whole or in part to technology such as Mono in WebAssembly and .NET Core, including designing and implementing solutions for features not yet implemented in the technologies in question.
• Desktop Development: Provided maintenance and feature support for client software using C#, WPF, UWP, .NET Core, and MVVM.
• Web Development: Developed and designed in-house and proof-of-concept web tools built on WebAssembly, JavaScript, React, and Platform Uno

NinjaTrader LLC — Denver, CO, 2015-2017

• Commercial Desktop Software: Developed features for and maintained existing features for NinjaTrader 8 desktop software, using C# and WPF with MVVM design pattern.
• Internal Software: Developed in-house tools for monitoring, charting, and reporting on server load under various conditions.
• Code Generation: Developed wizard that enables user to reliably and intuitively generating working C# code for automated trading solutions.
• Multi-Platform Development: Built prototype versions of desktop software using technologies such as Xamarin Forms, React, JavaScript, and C#-JavaScript transpiler Bridge.net (no longer active)

Infrastructure Technologies — Albuquerque, NM, 2007-2015

• Mobile Software: Developed Android application in Java for use in collecting utility data, including video, snapshots, and integration with ArcGIS, all of which can be sent via JSON to the desktop software.
• Video Capture: Using a combination of C# and C++/CLI, wrote a solution that captures video through DirectShow, paints a data overlay on the frames and writes them to video files in wmv7, h264, mpeg1, or mpeg2 formats.
• Hardware Integration: Created software in VB6 and later in C# that could send and receive data from a variety of industry-specific hardware devices over RS232 cable.
• Information Reporting: Maintained and created VB6 code to generate graphical, summary, and analytical reports for infrastructure asset management.  Later ported that code to C#.
• Database Synchronization: Wrote threaded software that would compare 2 databases in either MS SQL Server or Access and update both to reflect the most recent data available, used primarily by crews gathering field data and pushing it to a master database.  Written in VB.NET and later ported to C#.
• Data QC: Wrote desktop software in C#, using WPF technology and MVVM design pattern that would create SQLite archives of collected data and log the user’s alterations to the database for the purpose of generating quality reports on the collected data.
• Data Integration: Created software to transfer data from competitors’ database designs into our database format.
• Technical Support: Deployed, tested and supported software written by myself and other developers.
