Quentin REY

My name is Quentin REY, and I am in the 4th year of my engineering degree (M1 equivalent) at Mines Saint-Etienne Engineering School, majoring in computer science.

Through my training, I learned different aspects of computer science including software engineering, front-end web development using Vue.js and backend development using Spring Boot. I have also studied cloud computing using AWS and interoperability of computer systems. 

Last semester, I developed an appointment scheduler for the psychologist of my school using VueJs and Spring.

Ideally, I would like to work on environmental issues.

From September 2022 to January 2023, I participated in a technical group project, where I developed an online appointment scheduling tool for the school psychologist, using Spring Boot and Vue.js.

During the year 2022, I participated in a citizen group project to meet the requirements of the CTC42 association, where we carried out research and a synthesis of data on the ecological situation of Saint-Etienne and created a web interface to make data accessible.

During the month of January 2022, I also completed an operator internship at HOP! (Air France group), where I was immersed in the department responsible for the maintenance of short and medium-haul aircraft in Clermont-Ferrand.

Finally, every summer, I carry out haymaking and agricultural work at the GAEC des Myrtilles.

I am in the midst of completing my Master's degree in Science and Executive Engineering at the École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Etienne, with a specialization in Computer Science. Through my studies, I have acquired a diverse range of skills in various aspects of computer science, including software engineering, front-end web development utilizing Vue.js, and back-end development with Spring Boot. Additionally, I have gained experience in cloud computing through the use of AWS and have learned about the interoperability of computer systems.

Prior to this, I completed my undergraduate studies at Louis Lachenal high school, where I focused on Physics and Technology.
