Yanqi Huang

Recent Ph.D. graduate in Science Engineering with a passion for computer science technology, coding, research and artificial intelligence. Deeply interested in programming sinch junior high school, honing my skills in various languages and applying them to analyze data and solve complex problems. I am eager to explore opportunities in diverse fields where I can leverage my technical expertise.

Outside of academia, I'm a band drummer and a console gaming enthusiast, with Bloodborne being my all-time favorite game.

I obtained my Ph.D. this February, and therefore, my professional experience consists solely of internships rather than industrial roles. I served as an Attaché Temporaire à l'Enseignement et à la Recherche (ATER) at Université de Bourgogne from September 2022 to August 2023, where I instructed students in MATLAB programming, managed fifth-year engineering student projects, supervised internships, and participated in evaluation processes. I also worked as a Software and Algorithm Developer at ISEP from February to November 2019, developing a coding gaming website with Google's Blockly and integrating it with the ROBO robot's board. Additionally, I interned at China Telecom System Integration Co. Ltd in July and August 2016, designing and deploying a database for the Department Employee KPI System. These roles have honed my skills in project management, software development, and database design.

**Doctoral Degree**
I obtained my Ph.D. from Université de Bourgogne, where my research focused on high-accuracy indoor 3D positioning of dynamic objects using Visible Light Communication (VLC) technology. My thesis aimed to develop autonomous assistance robots for medical settings, leveraging VLC for precise and safe positioning.

**Master's Degree**
I earned my Diplôme d'ingénieur, Grand Master in Software Engineering from ISEP, where I engaged in projects involving sensor integration and data anonymization using MongoDB. My coursework covered advanced algorithmics, machine learning, and distributed architectures with AWS.

**Bachelor's Degree**
I completed my Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. My studies included projects such as developing an MVC website and an iPhone application, with a curriculum that emphasized programming, database design, and algorithm development.
