    Title: Sales Manager - Grand Est Region of France

    Department: Trimble Transport

    Reports to: Country Manager France

    Job objectives:

    You will be responsible for business development and sales activities throughout the "Grand Est" region of France . In charge of signing direct sales contracts, as well as managing the partner network. He brings his experience of selling complex, high-value-added projects in a Business-to-business environment to help achieve growth targets and support the company's development in this region. This while respecting the Group's strategic orientations and ethical values.

    Responsibilities:

    Develop an annual sales strategy and action plan for the region, in order to achieve growth and profitability targets.

    Maintain a strong relationship with existing customers to maintain and renew current contracts by adding value-added services (VAS).

    Create and maintain a network in the Transport & Logistics sector to strengthen Trimble's position in this specific segment.

    Initiate and coordinate the implementation of commercial actions to penetrate this market in the region.

    Provide regular activity reports to management.

    Respond to invitations to tender and specifications submitted by companies or consultancies for projects to overhaul existing telematics solutions.

    Present Trimble's commercial offers in a professional manner, in line with customers' expectations and within the constraints of the company's pricing grids and profitability rules.

    Informs management of all prospecting, quotation and sales contract negotiation activities.

    Participate in the creation of sales presentations and offers.

    Participate with the sales team in various events, forums, congresses and trade shows in line with Trimble's marketing strategy in France.

    Adhere to all company rules, procedures and ethical codes and ensure their proper implementation in the region.

    Roles and interactions:

    Internal / External collaborations.

    Ensure that the usual quotas of telephone contacts, customer visits, presentations, sales proposals and direct B-to-B sales contracts are met or exceeded.

    Maintain contact with all customers in the sector to guarantee the highest level of satisfaction and contract renewals.

    Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with all company employees.

    Demonstrate a natural assumption of responsibility and a highly autonomous work organization without ever forgetting to report regularly to Management.

    Profile requirements:

    5 + years of experience as a proven salesperson, sales manager or key account salesperson, preferably in the road transport IT solutions sector.

    Strong interest in computer software and NTIC.

    In-depth experience of all aspects of B-to-B customer relations.

    Good understanding of customer expectations and market dynamics.

    Ability to work independently in a home office with frequent travel to customers and prospects in the region.

    Ability to integrate into a structured professional team in an international environment.

    Willingness and ability to travel in the region up to 50% of the time with an average of +/- 20%

    Mother tongue level of French and a Fluent Level of English are a Must Have.
