Norse Atlantic Airways is the disruptor's airline

We started our operations in June 2022, and opened our Paris base in March 2023.

Today we are operating flights from Paris, London, Rome, Berlin and Oslo to destinations in North America, the Caribbean and to Bangkok.

Our network is still growing with new destinations like Athens and Las Vegas, and more to come. We are changing the game in aviation, leading the way in long-haul low-cost travel.

As our operating network is growing, so is our organization, and we are now looking for a Senior People Advisor in France.

This is an opportunity to develop a new position within Norse.


Responsibilities and duties

• Handle daily People (HR) advisory tasks for office and airborne personnel
• Advise management on HR related matters
• Ensure that we are compliant with local laws and legislation
• Be a strong partner for HQ People Team and local management
• Responsible for Health and Safety Environment (HSE) processes
• Employee relations and absence management
• Administration of Payroll data
• Be involved in recruitment and selection process of new employees
• Ensuring our employees have a smooth onboarding and offboarding experience
• Other tasks as defined by the company Contribute to Norse being a place where people feel like belonging

Required qualifications and certifications

• Good understanding of French HR practices, labor law and union relations
• Understanding that as part of an international organization based in Paris you need to think globally and act locally
• Committed to Norse's vision and core values
• Able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Strong IT and digital skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Business minded HR focus Comfortable with the rapid pace of change in the aviation industry

Required experience:

• Preferably minimum bachelor degree in HR. Relevant experience may compensate
• Experience from HR within the aviation industry is an advantage HSE experience and knowledge is also an advantage
