The group's expertise covers the entire energy production chain, from development to sales, including financing, construction, operation, and decommissioning.


Based on a multi-local strategy, Qair designs and implements solutions tailored to each territory, offering customized economic and financial structures to communities and industries.


The position is located in Montpellier, with frequent travel in metropolitan France, particularly in the South PACA and Eastern Occitanie regions (Mediterranean region).

Mission

As an Engineer - Southern Crops and Agri-Solar, your main missions will include:


Agri-PV Project Development:


  • Prospect agricultural land using your network and tools provided by the Group.
  • Sign standard contracts with landowners and farmers after analyzing the specific constraints of each project.
  • Collaborate with support teams to design installations, from preliminary projects to environmental studies.
  • Coordinate external partners in conducting various studies.
  • Prepare and cowrite responses to calls for tenders related to agrivoltaic projects.
  • Identify and coordinate exchanges with all agricultural stakeholders.
  • Supervise the development, writing, and followup of administrative files to obtain the necessary authorizations.
  • Participate in financing and launching works.

Advice and Expertise:


  • Provide a regional strategic vision of the challenges of southern agricultural productions and support the development of the network of actors related to these challenges.
  • Improve the land prospecting strategy in the agricultural sector.
  • Organize regulatory, economic, and technological monitoring.
  • Create methodological tools for operational teams and implement educational tools for the development of the agronomic culture of the Qair Group.
  • Ensure the coordination of agronomic monitoring of experimental projects on the Mediterranean coast.
  • Capitalize on feedback to establish best practices for development.
  • Formalize an agroeconomic strategy for each project in the agricultural environment.

Partnership Network:


  • Develop and maintain a network of partners from the agricultural world, especially in livestock and southern crop sectors.
Profile

  • Graduate of an Agricultural/Agro Engineering School or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the agricultural sector (fruits, vegetables, vines).
  • Solid knowledge of the challenges of southern crop systems.
  • Appetite for fieldwork and the agricultural/rural world.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and convince diverse audiences.
  • Established networks and contacts in the agricultural world.
  • Knowledge of current regulations and the context of renewable energies.
  • Ability to work in a multiexpertise team and project management mode.
  • Team spirit, initiative, proposal force, and innovation mindset.
  • Methodical, organized, rigorous, and autonomous.
  • Excellent writing skills, analytical and synthesis abilities.
  • Mastery of standard computer tools and scheduling software.
  • Driving license B.
  • Professional English proficiency would be a plus.
