Salins Group is one of the main European salt producers and the only \"pure salt producer\" exclusively dedicated to the production and commercialization of salt.


It is the only European producer who are experts in the 3 different salt production techniques - solar, vacuum and rock salt.

They can supply salt in all its forms, be it untreated or conditioned and for all types of use:
food-grade, farming, the chemical industry, de-icing, water treatment and other industrial activities.


The Group's production capacity is 4 million tons of salt per year, taking into account their industrial production facilities in France, Spain, Italy, The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Tunisia and Senegal.


Description du poste:

You will evolve within the Marine Salt Trading Company, which is the bulk export entity of the Group. This subsidiary trade approximatively 1.5 million tons of sea salt in bulk every year.

In order to support the permanent growth of this entity, we have built some years ago Marine Salt Shipping, the dedicated shipbroker of Salins under the responsibility of Marine Salt Trading Manager.


COMMERCIAL:

  • Build and follow a commercial budget
  • Price et volume negotiation with customer
  • Develop new markets
  • Maintain and foster established relationships with customers, clients, suppliers and other business partners

MARITIME AND SHIPPING OPERATIONS

  • Provide nomination and timely acceptance vessels in close relation with the chartering Manager
Ensure that all measures of mitigation are in place to avoid any risks, disruptions, losses related to vessel operations/trade execution

  • Vessel oversight with insurance company, supervise loading and discharging operations in a timely and prompt manner in order to ensure flawless execution and reduce potential issues
  • Obtain and issue documentary/shipping instructions with various stakeholders (suppliers, customers, banks, shipowners/brokers, subsidiaries...
  • Answer questions and negotiate documents with internal and external contacts related to loading, unloading, insurance claims, contract requirements,...

Description du profil:

Graduated with a Bachelor or Master degree in shipping studies
you are fluent in English.

You are willing to do business development.


You have a sufficient knowlege in maritime shipping ideally you already worked in a operating department or as a shipbroker.

You have a knowlege of trade terms (Incoterms, letter of crefdits, execution FOB, C&F, CIF contracts...)

You are able to work in a fast paced work environment and have good communication skills.
