In the operation team, we are looking for our new Claims manager.
Your next missions:
You are our customers' first point of contact in case of claims.
You negotiate, determine and settle the fleet claims within your pay-out limit. You report directly to the Team Lead Claims.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
- Claims investigation, management, and further file processing according to our internal guidelines
- Check the existing insurance coverage for our fleet in case of claims
- Settlement in case of personal injury and material damage (examination of liability and damage amount, eventual recourse actions)
- Negotiations with the regulatory authorities (lawyers, repair shops, and other relevant experts)
- Interface (via phone, facetoface, or in writing) to our SHARE NOW locations, external experts, repair shops, law firms, and insurance companies
- Europewide correspondence with repair shops and suppliers
- Conducting necessary enquires
- Other relevant tasks, such as the preparation of accident compensation statements or examination of the reasons for the complaint
Expected skills:
- Completed commercial or technical education (ideally in the insurance, service, or vehiclerelated industry) or similar working experience; alternatively completed law or economics studies
- Excellent French & good English skills (both written and spoken)
- Strong customer orientation & negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with typical bases of claims, compensation payments, and relevant jurisdiction & a fundamental technical understanding of vehicle damages
