And our local flex platform provides energy flexibility trading​ built specifically for use cases related to congestion management on the European transmission and distribution grids, and end-to-end flexibility procurement by System Operators​.

    YOUR RESPONSABILITIES

    We are looking for a Project Management Officer/Scrum Master to join our Market Coupling Project team. You will report to the MCO Project Coordinator and assist her in ensuring projects are completed on time from initiation to closure and within budget.

    You will play a crucial role in supporting and optimizing project and change request management processes. You will help the scrum team by tracking the team's progress and proceed to some adjustments to be made regarding time, cost or scope to maximize efficiency. Your main responsibilities are:

    Project and Change Request Planning and Coordination:

    • organize meetings, write minutes and proactively drive for action item results and resolution
    • collaborate with the scrum teams to develop project documentation and comprehensive project backlogs, timelines, and deliverables
    • coordinate project resources, tasks, and dependencies to facilitate smooth project execution in close collaboration with the MCO project coordinator
    • collaborate with product line managers to ensure the availability and allocation of resources according to project needs
    • facilitate effective communication between scrum teams and various stakeholders,
    • gather inputs for the invoicing process and coordinate actions with Accounting.
    • attend external meetings as EPEX representative to provide status and updates.

    Project Performance Reporting:

    You implement and generate some project performance reports, identifying issues and areas for improvement – typically tracking costs and investigating deviations, monitoring planning etc.,

    You provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and potential mitigation actions.

    You address and escalate issues that may impact project timelines and deliverables.

    Scrum Master Role:

    You guide the team and Product Owner on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values

    You operationally lead the team for smooth release management, including exhaustive backlog, timelines, and deliverables.

    As a single point of contact, you ensure coordination with external stakeholders: within EPEX (other Product Owners and Scrum Masters), or beyond EPEX (provider, counter-parties)

    SKILLS & ABILITIES

    Technical skills:

    You have a strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools combined with a proven track record of project management practices.

    • You have very good technical skills enabling you to understand complex topics and coordinate actions with a variety of stakeholders in an effective manner
    • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • You can work on multiple projects which will include effective prioritization and cross-team collaboration

    Soft skills:

    • You are a team player with very good communication and interpersonal skills
    • You are recognized for your excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
    • You are detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results

    EDUCATION

    Bachelor's degree in engineering, or business school or equivalent

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Fluent in English, other languages would be appreciated

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar role with cross-functional teams
    • Very good knowledge of Agile methodology
