Your Responsibilities

As part of the development of Capgemini Engineering activities in the industrial sector, the Presales Director collaborates with commercial teams throughout the pre-sales cycle, from creating opportunities to participating in technical and financial proposals, and negotiation.

The Presales Director plays a key role in the Industry he/she operates in, for a specific sector or key client accounts of Capgemini. The goal is to have a good understanding of the market challenges and trends of the sector, know the key players, culture, and issues. It also involves a good understanding of the partner and competitive ecosystem.

Familiar with the engineering world, the Presales Director has strong capabilities to grasp the value offerings of Capgemini Engineering and simplify them. Engaging in complex projects, the Director has experience in large projects in a project manager or technical director role. In constant interaction with our Sales teams, experts, and the entire Capgemini ecosystem, the Presales Director participates in client interactions and may pitch our value propositions alongside the experts.

The Presales Director's responsibilities include:

Defining Capgemini Engineering's strategy within the industry
Understanding and identifying the Group's assets and value offerings that can address the clients' challenges
Responding to formal consultations (leading the Response team and presentation) within the internal ecosystem with the solution holders in Capgemini Engineering practices
Capitalizing on key references within the scope
Implementing cross-cutting initiatives within the scope (Innovation, sustainability...)

Your Profile

You have graduated from an engineering or business school.

You have a minimum of 15 years of experience with successful experiences as a presales, project manager, or technical director in the target industry, with a solid understanding of engineering or digital professions.

Your ability to manage teams across multiple locations, especially in an international context, is unquestionable (fluent in English).

Expected qualities include:

Ability to interact in matrix environments (internal ecosystem of Capgemini, partners...)
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
