Position Description
Interested in taking challenges in an active industry, by developing the trucks of tomorrow? Convinced that a good system verification is key for the customer? Or just curious about the title? These are already good reasons to look at this job posting

This is us, your new colleagues
As the owner of

Electrical and Electronic (E&E) products for Powertrain Engineering (PE), we specify, develop and verify electrical systems and wiring harness with built-in quality for engines, e-Axles, gearboxes and after-treatment systems. We are also the backbone of the associated embedded systems development, we configure, integrate and verify software (SW) and dataset (DST) developed within PE, using and designing the PE software factory.
As

E&E System Verification Engineer, you will contribute to a better quality of the embedded systems by developing relevant and robust automatic tests, allowing delivering software and dataset more frequently and quicker. Doing so, you will act toward a continuous integration and verification of the embedded systems fully supporting the product evolution with a shorter time to market.
By joining the

E&E SW/DST Integration and Verification team, you will be part of an engaged team of almost 14 people, proud of its product, open minded and self-organized, willing to learn and help each-other, in a positive atmosphere.

Role description
Your main responsibility as E&E System Verification Engineer will be to secure the quality of calibrated software and minimize the risks towards our customer by:

  • defining the E&E verification strategy for any product evolution,
- writing test procedures, performing the tests and investigating issues, using the Hardware In the Loop (HIL) methodology and dSpace bench as main tools,
- seeking for the right test procedure according to the level of the expected test (virtual and vehicle) to optimize the PE verification strategy.

To secure long term verification strategy, you will also plan and develop automatic tests.

You will be part of a team of around 14 people, using the agile principles where self-organization, collaboration and 'will do' attitude is essential.

Together with the rest of the team, you'll have the opportunity to define new & innovative verification solutions and ways of working.

You will also be part of the global network around HIL simulation test benches and interact with our colleagues abroad.

Who are you?

  • You are holding a Master degree in Electronics or Automation engineering and have been working within the embedded system environment.
  • You have knowledge and experience on the embedded system verification resources (HIL/SIL).
  • You have the right mindset, focused on the customer satisfaction, balancing with the right risk management.
  • You know our Powertrain Engineering (PE) products, and our worldwide customers.
  • You know our PE development tools (CANalyzer, Vision, EngineeringTool)

You have additional skills? A strong experience in System Verification? A good leadership and the will to meet new challenges? The role could evolve into

E&E System Verification Leader, making you the safeguard of the virtual verification strategy for all our Powertrain Engineering products. Among those new challenges, you would be the one to support the Verification Engineers in defining their verification plan and verification reports, drive the mid/long term verification strategy, etc.

Are we a perfect match?

Still hesitating? You believe you have the right profile, but you don't have the required experience? Or you have the right experience, but you don't feel fully convinced? Let's have a virtual coffee and talk together.
