Context
Nexans has embarked on a new strategy - Electrify the future.

In this context, we are building a Sales, Marketing and Communication team to ensure customer centricity, improved partnership and customer engagement.

The Sustainability team is also evolving towards our new E3 (Economics, Environment, Engagement) performance management.

As data has become key for our strategy, we are recruiting a Business Analyst for our Sales and Marketing related to Data driven projects, including Offer management.


Purpose
Create data-driven competitive advantages through solid foundations and serving sales & marketing use cases by offering high quality data.
Become a Business Translator, to develop and deliver a Sales, Marketing data-driven business scenarios.

Provide 360-degree view of our sales and marketing activities - driving our sales and marketing strategy with the ambition of Monetization and monetization consolidation of the Sales & Marketing transformation, through Data and our Sales & Marketing Platform Nexans Accelerator.


Areas of responsibility

Business Consolidation

  • Responsible for monitoring, consolidating, Sales & Market data related to our Global Offers and Segments including GM/EBITDA impacts (from Nexans Accelerator)
  • Building dashboards ensuring the granular visibility of Sales & Marketing activities with Global Offers, Platinum Account Management, Branded Sales, New offers
  • Offer / Account / Market mix analysis supporting the financial performance review
  • Analyzing the market penetration of Global Offers per sales channels, product segmentation
  • Recommending S&M action plans for supporting the BUs successful impact achievement

Business Strategy & Roadmap

  • Develop a deep understanding of current and future needs of our stakeholders (Global & Local)
  • Develop gap analyses, assessing the "as is" data assets versus use cases requirements in order to define and build data acquisition needs and quality expectations
  • Finding ways to utilize efficiently all data sources in order to optimize global Marketing & Sales Process and accelerate data usage and analytics.
  • Assist in building data business cases to allow for stakeholders and management validation
  • Follow up on and ensure success and value creation of data business cases
  • Support the definition of and participate in the execution of the global Sales & Marketing roadmap

Expected results

To improve the accessibility, consistency and quality of sales and marketing data, allowing strategic decision making and giving the sales and marketing teams the analysis necessary to drive our transformation.


Required skills and qualifications

Minimum Qualification

  • 3+ years of experience working in FP&A/Business analysis
  • Business understanding and experience
  • Proven experience of working effectively with diverse stakeholders across multiple time zones
  • Curiosity, collaborative mindset
  • Data Driven with strong analytic skills
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills
  • Show great interest in sales and marketing processes
  • Strong communication, storytelling and problemsolving skills
  • Selfstarter with a growth mindset
  • English fluency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering or Business Education with Data orientation
  • Experience in project management
  • Business experience inside Nexans
  • French/English bilingual
  • Knowledge of data visualisation tools inc. Power BI, Power Platform
