Description

Job title :
Internship / Data Science

Project topic :
Data Science for Smart Manufacturing of Clean Hydrogen Technology

6 months internship

DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE

  • Deep decarbonization is a critical step to mitigate climate change and protect future generations. To achieve it, we must act on the way we produce and consume energy also investing in new alternatives to decarbonize the industries.
  • At the heart of the decarbonization challenge is Genvia a SLB joint venture (with CEA, Vinci, Vicat and Occitanie region) in Clean Hydrogen Technology that will scale up the next generation of electrolyzer technology and will accompany international organizations and industries along the path to Net-Zero.
  • With the inauguration of the Genvia's manufacturing pilot line, in June 2023, we are collecting everyday thousands of timeseries and tens of images that trace the entire production process. The objective of the internship is to check the quality of the data, to detect if any anomaly is present, and, finally, to ingest it in mathematical algorithms for predictive performance and/or maintenance of the equipment.
  • As part of Genvia Digital and Data Science team, you will be based in MpTC and will work on conceiving data pipelines to efficiently retrieve and organize the data in traceability files, write anomaly detection algorithms (both supervised and unsupervised), thus build predictive models based on stateoftheart machine learning techniques (e.g., timeseries and computer vision techniques).
  • As a Data Scientist, you will work in an autonomous manner, supported by technical experts. You will visit the factory in Beziers once a week to learn about the manufacturing processes, collaborate with crossfunctional teams and help taking realtime decisions.

REQUIRED SKILLS- Master Degree - 2nd year or Final year of Engineering school Strong problem-solving skills and technical judgment, Good programming skills in python Experience in data analytics and machine learning algorithms, You work both on your own initiative and as part of a team and have excellent communication skills Good English written & oral skills
