Global Business Unit Renewables is supporting the Group to accelerate RES asset development with an EBIT around €1.1Bn. We count 4,000 employees and more than 50 nationalities across 20 countries.

With an installed capacity of 32 GW across 4 Operational Areas, GBU Renewables manages a diversified portfolio of assets including Solar (3.5 GW), Wind (10.9 GW) and hydro (17.7 GW) assets.

Our ambition is to multiply by 2.6 our installed capacity with 80 GW in 2030.


Mission & roles
As an Industrial Quality Manager your missions are to:

  • Build a R-GBU global industrial approach, process and policy about QA/QC in renewable projects
  • Provide R-GBU's entities with the best practices and to ensure that the construction and operation of renewable plants are done with the highest level of quality
  • Promote in the R-GBU standards industrial quality tools (Lean 6 Sigma, Poka Yoke, FMEA, RCA, )
  • Animate the Quality Expertise Network with the Regional Quality Managers
  • Provide support to BD/project managers where it is required to deploy the standards and process in term of Quality in the project, including in project contracts
You closely coordinate these missions with the Suppliers Quality Managers and the Regional Quality Managers.


Organization
You will report to the R-GBU Quality Department Manager and interact with ENGIE corporate teams (R-GBU global platform - especially Engineering department and the Construction & Services Procurement Expert, Technology Management, etc.) and within ENGIE R-GBU

Operational Areas:
Regional Quality Managers, Project Managers, etc.


Main responsibilities
Industrialize the quality within the R-GBU

In close collaboration with the Engineering Team, the Suppliers Quality Managers, Construction teams and the Construction & Services Procurement Expert:

  • Define and maintain the R-GBU quality standards and process (nonconformity process, quality guidelines, quality control plans)
  • Participate to the digitalization of quality management in the R-GBU
  • Define and monitor KPIs linked to the deployment of quality requirements and to nonconformity management.
Manage the return of experience with the R-GBU

In close collaboration with the Regional Quality Managers:

  • Implement the "REX" culture and tools for taking lessons learned from incidents and non-conformities then improve the process based on the "REX" from projects in all geographies in collaboration with the R-GBU platform (engineering, performance, procurement teams)
  • Animate the network of Quality Managers in geographies and make sure quality best practices are properly implemented.
  • Lead the actions implementation based on the "REX" to improve the standards and organization
  • Provide assistance to the operational areas as required on Projects.

Education, Experience & Skills


You have an academic education and expert in quality and a good knowledge of project management, feeling comfortable with technical topics.

You have min.

10 years of relevant industrial quality experience in industry and in an international environment, as well as proven experience in renewable projects to be able to adapt the quality standard to the Renewable industry.

Capable of very good communication and presentation skills on a professional level in both English and French, Spanish or Chinese is a plus.

Worldwide travel activity comes from 5 to 20% of the working time.
